Terry Douglas resumed writing poetry after his wife of thirty-nine years passed on in 2003. He was raised in New York City and attended university there.
Following his entry into the CIA, he lived abroad in Warsaw, New Dehli, Beirut, and Berlin before returning to Virginia with his wife and five children. More recently he spent six months in Kabul, Afghanistan. He now spends his time writing and raising his teenage son.
